Proper preparation helps your flea treatment work as intended. Your technician will not be able to complete an interior treatment unless the required preparation is finished before the appointment.
Before interior flea treatment:
- Vacuum all floors, especially areas where pets sleep or spend lots of time.
- Wash affected pet bedding or throw it away if necessary.
- Vacuum furniture that pets use, including under and between cushions.
- Place vacuum contents in a sealed plastic garbage bag and dispose of it in an outdoor trash container. Fleas will continue developing in the vacuum contents if they are not removed.
- Remove boxes and other items from rooms where pets spend time so technicians can reach the treatment areas.
